The IASP has recently received a positive response from the OHIM, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs), for its application filed on November 2010 to grant protection for the IASP logo and tag line.

The "IASP - International Association of Science Parks" logo and its tag line "Linking the best" have been evaluated and validated as a Community trade mark (CTM). This guarantees the high quality of the network and safeguards their brand identity, conferring to the IASP exclusive rights to use the trade mark.

Mario Monette has been elected President of the Association des parcs de recherche et technopoles du Québec (QRPTA) for a one-year term.

This election took place during the General Meeting of the Association held on June 16, 2010 in Bromont, where members voted for Technoparc Montréal President and CEO Mario Monette as its new president.
