The IASP is now trademarked in Europe

The IASP has recently received a positive response from the OHIM, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs), for its application filed on November 2010 to grant protection for the IASP logo and tag line.

The "IASP - International Association of Science Parks" logo and its tag line "Linking the best" have been evaluated and validated as a Community trade mark (CTM). This guarantees the high quality of the network and safeguards their brand identity, conferring to the IASP exclusive rights to use the trade mark.

The registration with this European Union agency grants protection of our brand in all 27 countries of the EU. IASP is now exploring the possibility to extend the protection to other countries worldwide, although this is foreseen to be a longer and more complex process.
