New Managing Director of TEKEL

The Board of Directors of the Finnish Sceince Park Association TEKEL has appointed Mr. Jakko Helenius as TEKEL's new Managing Director. He takes over from Kyösti Jääskeläinen who retired at the end of October.

Helenius commented: "I am excited to take on this assignment, and I see the approximately 800 experts working in TEKEL's 31 member companies as a great resource for the development of national innovation and growing enterprise operations. An important stage is just beginning for TEKEL and its science park members, the preparation of new, locally influential operations models and programmes. In this task, I see the network of science parks as having a particularly significant role" .

Kyösti Jääskeläinen has been working in the Science Park industry for many years and under his guidance TEKEL joined WAINOVA at its creation in 2005. We wish him all the best for a happy retirement, and we look forward to working with Jakko Helenius in projects in the future.
