New President of RETIS
During the General Assembly that took place in Bordeaux on 11th June, RETIS, the French national network for innovation, elected its new president, Pascal Hurel, Director of Synergia, the technopole and CEEI based in Caen.
Pascal Hurel takes over from Francis Bécard, Director of Technopole de l'Aube and President of the network since 2006. Under Bécard's presidency, Retis gained new members and reinforced its national visibility and credibility with many publications and events supported by government ministries.
To carry out his new role and mission, Pascal Hurel will have the support of a network of 120 members (technopoles, public incubators, business clusters, incubators/higher education institutions), more than 800 professionals from the innovation sector and from a renewed administrative board.
He will be working with 6 people: Christophe Pourpart (Institutional Relations), Patrick Valverde (International), Caroline Lapelerie (Network Presentation), Sylvain Dorschner (Business Clusters), Olivier Farreng (Audit), Houriah Ghebalou (Financing).
