Brian Darmody, the Associate Vice President of Corporate Engagement at UMD, has been announced the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AURP. For now, he will continue his role at the education institution but eventually will phase out of his present role as associate vice president and focus on the CEO role at the new office ‘AURP HQ2’. However, over time he plans to transition out of UMD.
WAINOVA member AURP – the Association of University Research Parks, located in Washington, DC Area, has launched a new office at the University of Maryland (UMD) known as ‘AURP HQ2’ located at the UMD Discovery District.
The new CEO plans to promote the growth of transnational delegations by exploring diverse institutions such as universities and research parks.
