The association is a nonprofit organization initially comprised of Business Incubators and Science Parks in Thailand. The association also welcomes and serves members from other related fields like corporate joint venture partners, venture capital investors, economic development professionals and business sector from Thailand and from around the world. The association will act as a focal center of networking and plays a strong role in building capacity and strengthening the development of business incubators and Science parks in Thailand. Currently, there are over 70 Business Incubators, one Science Park and one Software Park in Thailand with two upcoming Regional Science Parks establishing in 2013.
