APTE

APTE has its headquarters in the Andalucía Technology Park. The APTE currently has 78 members distributed in 17 different autonomous regions, of which 32 are operative and the remainder are projects for science and technology parks expected to be operative within the next few years. The operative parks are the site of more than 3,800 companies, employing 100,474 workers and with a turnover of more than 13,230 million euros. However, one of the features which differentiates them most from other business centres is that more than 14,000 of the workers in these science and technology parks are dedicated to Research and Development (R&D).
