Berlin Adlershof, an active member of IASP, is launching the WISTA Academy to address the challenges businesses face in accessing and retaining talent. Recognizing that successful commercial location development involves more than just physical infrastructure, WISTA Management GmbH aims to create an environment that fosters both work and inspiration.

Bessie Fischer-Bohn, Head of Human Resources, Organisation, and Quality Management, spearheads the initiative by facilitating collaboration between the Academy and the WISTA sites in Adlershof and across Berlin. She actively engages with industry stakeholders to understand their specific qualification needs and ensures that the Academy’s offerings are tailored to meet these demands.

Addressing the perennial issue of skilled labor shortage, Fischer-Bohn emphasizes the importance of talent development and retention in WISTA’s long-term strategy. As technology continues to evolve, businesses are increasingly reliant on access to highly skilled professionals. The WISTA Academy aims to bridge this gap by offering a range of courses targeting startups, medium-sized companies, and enterprises adapting to new work paradigms in the wake of the pandemic.

With the first courses held in autumn 2023, the Academy focuses on areas such as digitalization and artificial intelligence, which have become essential in today’s business landscape. By providing on-site training and certifications tailored to individual company needs, the WISTA Academy ensures that businesses have the necessary resources to thrive in an ever-evolving market.
